Anna Di Scala was conceived in Italy and born in Liverpool, just like her work. Her nudes and portraits have the passion and sensuality of the masters that have inspired her. The work of Mogdiliani, Mattisse and Piccaso are prevalent in her painting. However, these styles are given a new vibrancy and freshness as Anna fuses them together to form art that is both contemporary and timeless.

Anna only began her painting career six years ago and is completely self taught, she paints exclusively in oils, although likes to sketch out her ideas first. She is one of the best selling artists in Liverpool and has followers across the world.

Always keen to experiment and expand her artistic horizons, she is looking to develop and translate her work from the canvas to the realms of stone sculpture.
