George W Jones "For as long as I can remember I've always enjoyed drawing, painting and generally being as creative as possible. As a young lad (with my pocket money) I'd buy a comic, a drawing pad and a pack of plasticine… bliss!

I've worked in the Advertising industry since leaving school which has kept me more or less in a creative environment. Over the years I've worked on everything from posters, packaging, CD covers, book covers to greeting card design. I'm a self taught artist and happy working in a variety of mediums from pencils, watercolours, acrylic, gouache and more recently digital.

As a freelance illustrator I've had requests to emulate many different styles….which I find challenging and rewarding. I illustrated my first of many science fiction book covers at the age of 15, and was thrilled to be given the opportunity to illustrate a cover for the legendary science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke. I've also illustrated several children's books which I enjoy immensely and would love to do a lot more of."
